Helping Make a Difference
Be part of the change you want to see.
Black Valley works to address the lack of diversity in tech by increasing the black talent pipeline and incubating black-led start-ups.
We do this by partnering with organisations and individuals who care about diversity and, like Black Valley, want to make a difference.
This year, we will be supporting 160 talented black professionals working or training in the tech industry. Their interests range from software development, UX/UI design and product management to cybersecurity and customer success, whilst others are keen to start their own company.
Our partners sponsor our eight-week immersive mentorship programmes, which are delivered at no cost to our mentees. In exchange, we give access to an engaged diverse community and pipeline of world-class talent.

"Webflow is proud to sponsor Black Valley and advance their mission to increase access to tech for Black talent.”
Vlad Magdalin, CEO @ Webflow
"At Founders Factory, we’re excited to announce a partnership with Black Valley. It’s well known the significant structural issues that black and other underrepresented founders face in scaling and raising funding for new ventures, and something we’ve been seeking to actively work on with our own Power to Black Founders initiative. The work of Black Valley in looking to drive more equity in tech through building a community of black founders and people in tech, supported through mentors and community knowledge sharing, is badly needed.
Our partnership will see us support Black Valley’s community with expert mentoring from our talent and Venture teams, including making introductions to our network of VCs and Angel investors.
We’re excited for the future."

"We were pleased to support Black Valley's pilot programme, which is tackling diversity in the technology sector, a worthy cause aligned to our own mission, which is to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has the same chances in life.It is every company's responsibility, no matter the size of the operation, to play a part, and I would urge you to support initiatives like Black Valley; even if it only changes one life, we can all help make a difference."
